1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of BizCol (the "Platform"), operated by BizCol, United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. The service
BizCol is a marketplace that connects UK businesses with independent consultants. We facilitate discovery, consultation requests, appointments, messaging, and reviews. We are not a party to any engagement agreed between a business and a consultant. We do not provide consultancy services ourselves.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, complete information when registering.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- Consultants must complete profile verification before being listed publicly. Profiles not meeting our standards will be returned with feedback.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Platform lawfully and in good faith. You must not:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Impersonate any person or organisation.
- Use the Platform to spam, harass, or abuse other users.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise compromise the Platform.
- Circumvent any security, verification, or payment mechanisms.
- Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice where necessary to protect other users or the Platform.
5. Consultants
- Consultants are independent contractors, not employees or agents of BizCol.
- Consultants are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, qualifications, and service descriptions.
- Consultants must respond to consultation requests in a timely and professional manner.
- BizCol reserves the right to remove or suspend consultant profiles that breach these terms or our quality standards.
6. Consultation requests & engagements
- The first consultation request is free for businesses.
- Engagement terms (scope, fees, deliverables) are agreed directly between the business and the consultant. BizCol is not a party to this agreement.
- BizCol is not liable for the conduct, advice, or output of any consultant, or for the outcome of any engagement.
7. Payments & subscriptions
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time with access continuing until the end of the billing period.
- All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. UK VAT is added at checkout.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. BizCol does not store card details.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support within 14 days of a charge.
8. Reviews
- A business may leave one review per completed appointment.
- Reviews must reflect a genuine, completed engagement. False, fabricated, or paid reviews are prohibited.
- BizCol may moderate reviews for policy compliance but will not edit the content of genuine reviews.
9. Intellectual property
The BizCol name, logo, and Platform are owned by BizCol. You may not use our brand assets without prior written consent. Content you submit to the Platform remains yours; you grant BizCol a licence to display it as necessary to operate the service.
10. AI features
BizCol's AI capabilities (including the AI Executive Advisor) provide general information and analysis for reference purposes only. They do not constitute professional legal, financial, tax, or regulatory advice. Always seek qualified professional advice for specific decisions.
11. Disclaimers & liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. See our Disclaimer for full details. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
